The first thing you need to do when a visitor lands on your web page is to grab their attention.
In fact research seem to suggest that you only have seven seconds to grab their attention, so whatever you do it needs to be effective!!!

But what can you incorporate in to your web design to do this??

Well there are two things that we really want to achieve on our web site.

One is to clearly explain to your customer your point of difference, and why they should consider using your services over your competition.

Two clearly explain to them how you can solve their problem, after all we don’t sell products we sell solutions to problems.

As I am not big on the theory and more interested in putting things into practice.

And would rather you form your own opinion, of the information I supply you.

Rather than taking the I am the expert do as I say approach, that many businesses seem to take.

I will give you a real live example of how this works, with this particular site.

You a more than likely on this site because;

• You are looking for an effective way to market your business services online.
• Your current web system isn’t performing, and you want answers why.
• You are spending a small fortune on advertising that you aren’t getting a decent ROI on.

So how do I get your attention, tell you why you should be using my services, and explain to you how I can solve your problem?

This is how it works for me, the principles for your business are exactly the same you just need to adapt them to suit.

Getting your attention.

When you arrived here on my site you should have seen a fade in that explained to you, the importance of creating your own information product. If you opted in to that form you would have already received a link to the audio on the benefits of creating an information product for your business. So straight up before you even start looking around my site I have offered you something of great value for free, that I could easily charge up to $100 for. As the content on that audio file has the potential to make your business thousand’s of dollars if used correctly. Next you would have seen that stupid looking head of mine at the top of this post. Which if have read this far managed to capture your interest to some degree!!

What makes me different

• Since then I have been explaining to you how I differ from my competition, by providing you with more great content, and pointing out the obvious which was the audio I gave you.

Here are some other ways I differ from my competition.

• I only work with a small select group of clients.
• I don’t take on just anyone, I assess your business first to make sure that I can offer a service that will put money in your pocket.
• I don’t throw a site up, say good luck and walk away, creating a profitable online marketing system takes time.
• Even if you don’t hire me everything you need to know to improve your site is on this blog, you just have to put the hours in to implement it all.
